Ninja Attack officially goes on sale today in Japan -- yoroshiku!
(US, Europe, and Asia to follow this fall!)
What people are saying:
"I wish I'd had this beautiful book back in 1983 when Kevin Eastman and I created the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles -- it would have helped a lot! At the very least, the 'ninja stuff' in our comic would have been quite a bit more authentic."
Peter Laird, co-creator, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
"The illustrations are brilliant! I wish there was a Japanese edition."
Takashi Okazaki, creator, Afro Samurai
"A very enjoyable and well-researched book that demystifies the ninja of legend!"
Stan Sakai, creator, Usagi Yojimbo
"Subterfuge! Assassinations! Secret weapons! Super-powers! Authors Yoda and Alt dig deep into Japanese history, folklore, and pop culture to bring back a saga overflowing with insight and action."
Patrick Macias, author, Tokyoscope: The Japanese Cult Film Companion
Congrats.
Looking forward to geting one when it arrives in the US.

I hope it does as well, if not better than Yokai Attack!

Im going to be in Tokyo on the 21st thru the 25th, hopefully I'll be able to find this at a book store. Even if I dont, i'll pick it up when it hits the states for sure.
Looks awesome.

You most definitely should be able to find it -- I've heard reports of it being on display at Kinokuniya (Shinjuku) and Tower Records (Shibuya).

I will wait some time to see if this book appears on Fnac shelves as the Yokai I bought before. I really do prefer to buy on a library instead of doing it online. I see that follows the same format and style as the Yokai. I like that.
