True story:
Sunday evening. I am getting ready for a shower. I take my clothes off and stuff them into the washing machine. As I walk towards the bathroom, a weird thought pops into my head. "Put your clothes back on. An earthquake is coming." It isn't hysterical; there's no adrenalin flowing. It's just there, crystal clear. Right then, the room starts to shake. Later I hear it was a magnitude 6.9 tremor.
Tuesday morning, early. It must be after dawn, because gentle light is filtering through the blinds. For some reason I've woken up. Right then, the room starts to shake. It's a decent-sized one -- after a moment or two it kicks into high gear for a second, then stops. Later I hear it was a 6.5.
Earthquake ESP? Or did I feel the tremors subconsciously? Maybe I'm part catfish?
Not to doubt your earthquake ESP, but both of the earthquakes this week have started as very slight tremors before they started to noticeably shake anything. It's the kind of sensation where I actually doubt if it's an earthquake or like, the building shaking a little from a big truck rumbling close by.

There was another one today? Totally didn't feel it...
Felt Sunday's, though.

Hey, I woke up just before the one this morning too. Weird, but my gut says it's because we felt the vibrations on a low level before they really got big.

Until you can get someone to pay you for your amazing earthquake ESP, it's just as useless as the ability to psychically induce people to wet themselves ;) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytDq-4NIXCA)

Yeah, I'm sure it's just the human body picking up the very first slight tremors...
Though I'm still trying to figure out how exactly I would make use of the super-power to make people urinate. Not exactly the sort of thing that gets one into the Justice League of America.

Wonder if it work for Kaiju attacks too...
seriously, glad all is well. 6.anything quakes are getting into dangerous territory.

Definitely glad that you're alright, but I can't really find the right words to appropriately express my heartfelt feelings about your safety/super powers.
All I can think about is hundreds of catfish moshing.

THAT my friend, we will have to put to the test next time I'm there. That's my superhuman power...to NOT have to pee for long periods of time. I'm sure that gets me into the Legion of Doom.

Whoa! Another little quake about 1/2 hour ago...

Well... technically the 6.9 was at the epicenter. Japan itself got anywhere from 2-4 magniture. :3
