Interesting post Marxy. Unfortunately, that can symbolizes most of America perfectly, even today. Even if everyone else re-brands us that will probably be our self image for a while. :|

Guess I'm crazy, I don't see anything wrong with that,or even 'oh, wacky Japan' even.
I'm amused by the dipping into history for the 'Love, American style' logotype however.
And nobody mentions the odd inclusion of two Japanese guys in the current American KFC Grilled Chicken ads? what with the festival clothing and all? THAT makes me go "huuuuuh?"
Say, Matt, has this horrible experiment in Pee Cee Food called 'grilled' KFC hit the shores of Yapan yet? It's really, really bad.

From Marxy's link:
"Whether in petite cans or freshly procured from an espresso machine, Japanese coffee is first-class"
You really find Japanese canned coffee first class!? I've usually found it totally over-sweetened and full of gross creamer-like substances and I'm not even much of a coffee snob.(That said,I love the brand name of the non-dairy creamer "Creap," which a friend once remarked sounded like it had crushed-up zombies inside. )

Don't think I don't appreciate your N.W.A. reference, because I do. I once claimed that was the motto of Pomona College.
