In this September 11th interview (Japanese language) with "Golgo 13" creator Takao Saito, the legend claims to have a softer side. "Right now, I'm feeling like I want to do something for kids, like Doraemon or Anpanman."
I can't think of anyone better qualified to teach the tykes that despite what they may have heard on Sesame Street, a silenced, pushbutton triggered M-16 will get you a lot farther in life than "sharing."

what the!? he made that!? where's the cold an impassionate lovemaking? Does Barom 1 ever use his powers to take out poachers for nelson mandella? If only I could study Saito's work and see a common running theme in them, that'd be awesome.

Well, the truth was he didn't take out poachers for Nelson Mandella, but for World Wide Fund for Nature that worried the extinction of elephant population because of the ivory demand in Japanese hanko industry.
I'm also happy to inform you that Golgo is currently working for the ad of Hanko association and preaching everyone that "Japanese use hanko!".Natural born fired gun,I'd say.
