Ultramen's Wearhouse
I love the smell of latex in the morning. It smells like... Japanese sci-fi.
Due to a merger & acquisition earlier this year, legendary Japanese monster-makers Tsuburaya Pro are closing down their prop warehouse in the suburbs of Tokyo. Last Friday, they held a special open house for friends of the company to get one last sneak peek inside the old kaiju suit storage facility. I was enroute to America at the time, but fortunately Hiroko was on the scene with her camera. You can see more of her photos after the jump. (Click to see 'em full size.) Enjoy!

Unbelievable. Absolutely un-friggin-believable. How the hell do you get an invite to the Tsuburaya prop warehouse?!?

Please tell me those suits and props are bound for the Tsuburaya Museum or something, as opposed to being melted down into one enormous ball of latex.
