Not a gallery setting per se, but years ago someone posted on Toybox DX that they came across a Jumbo Machinder display in an airport. Atlanta, perhaps?

Apparently my mom was willing to fly me back to DC to see this and never told me :V

Good to see it all went well, though.

Warren's collection when it was on display in Baton Rouge definitely had jumbos on display but by character (e.g., T-28,etc.) and not by toy type.

A few years ago Cal Academy in San Francisco had a Godzilla jumbo machinder (I think..) on display as part of a case that accentuated "dinosaurs in pop culture" or somesuch thing..

I know of isolated Machinders displayed as objet d'art here and there, but aside from the display at the late, lamented Bandai Museum can't think of any others.

I only wish that the show wasn't over so quickly; it really got me thinking that I'd like to publicly display the toys rather than keep them cooped up in a personal display. I really enjoyed watching people looking over the lineup, particularly the kids, who really went bonkers over it.

I did see two on display at the Sante Fe Museum of Intl Folk Art back in 1999 or so, but they did not have any labels like the rest of the exhibits. In fact, seeing those got my back into Jumbos after a 20 year hiatus :)

Good to see jumbos being given such respect

    Great pic! Great show!
